Getting started
Do I need prior teaching experience to join?
No. This course is built for aspiring yoga teachers as well as certified teachers and health professionals. If you’re new to teaching, the training walks you through methodology and sequencing from the ground up.
Is this course accredited?
Yes — Gandharvi Yoga Academy is a YACEP provider with Yoga Alliance, and you’ll earn 50 Continuing Education hours on completion.
Is the training live or self paced?
All sessions are live and online, with real-time teaching practice, discussion and feedback — not a pre-recorded course.
What if I miss live session?
Recordings are provided for a limited time to anyone who can’t attend a live session, so you won’t fall behind if you miss a class.
Do I need to be pregnant or have taught prenatal yoga before?
Not at all. This training is for anyone who wants to learn how to safely and confidently guide women through pregnancy and postpartum, regardless of personal experience.
What supports do I get after training ends?
You’ll have lifetime access to course materials, ongoing mentorship, and a community of fellow teachers for continued support as you begin teaching.
